Skimboard Picture, Oak Island Treasure, Moore's Landing

We'd just set up camp at King Neptune's Campground and then took a drive to find a memorable placeto have dinner.

This was it!

Skimboarders were active on St. Margaret's Bay in Nova Scotia Canada. Observing skimboarding contest between the skim board youngsters, lunched on the balcony at Hubbards, 14 miles from Chester Basin and Oak Island treasure.

Did the Canada visitors bureau have information skimboarding or Oak Island? Would it be hard to find Oak Island on a map of province and capital of canada? Plenty of oaks, and islands, but not easily Oak Island.

Did the historic figures of Oak Island know skimboard trick? Did they make skimboards? Would they laugh at skimboarders or join them in skimboard trick stunts?

We appeard silly bringing our digital camera gear onto the deck with us. Even moreso with the tripod and setting up the snapshots of us dining and seeing skimboarding trick. (We'd look goofier attempting skimboard trick stunts.) After all, this isn't the most compelling attraction canadian tourist. We like travelling Nova Scotia cheap, and watching skimboarders is free.

How many provinces does Canada have? If they're like this, there aren't enough. (This province's Canada visitors bureau would likely agree.) At least you could find that information on the standard map of province and capital of canada.

Visting the Canadian province we thought these skimboarder (or skimboreders) were faux surfers, playing around with miniature boards (skimpboards?). It wasn't until we were back home trying to look up information about this region, that I saw a post that these mini boards were skimboards. Leave it to someone from central USA confuse skimboarders with wanna-be surf dudes, and not recognize a skimboard.

Nova Scotia temperatures in August in the 70's, a little cooler this time of day, are near perfect for tent camping. Tent camping is another means to vacation in Nova Scotia cheap.

Even though it wasn't Tim Horton's coffee, it inspired us to find a Tim Horton's on our return to our King Neptune's Campground.

The skimboarders in the picture didn't mind the St. Margarent's Bay temps. The Skimboarding youth must've been natives of this Canadian province, or visitors employed for the summer at the local discount rent a car Canada or the Canada visitors bureau - as contributing members of Canada population province.

It was ideal as a favorite attraction Canadian tourist. If it was on the map of province and capital of canada, then too many people would've been there enjoying it - and we wouldn't have. To that tidbit, I lift my Tim Horton's Coffee in agreement.

With Oak Island only being a couple dozen km away, if we'd known about the mystery and the treasure rumors, we'd have looked the place up, and gotten a few more festive photos of Nova Scotia Canada. And speaking of treasure rumors, Tim Horton's coffee and doughuts were quite the reward returning from here.

We were also close to King Neptunes campground. So this St. Margaret's Bay area was located well for our purposes. We could relax and enjoy our lunch on the overlook above the skimboard trick stunts.

Instead skimboarding was our entertainment as we were oblivious the history of location that spawned the mysterious Oak Island treasure rumors only a short way from here. They were having fun doing skimboarding trick stunts. Doesn't look like the skim board pictures caught those skimboarding trick stunts.

I never imagined skimboarding in Nova Scotia Canada. In fact, the only watersports I'd considered from this part of Canada was boating and kayaking. Tent camping at King Neptune campground didn't have quick access to rental boats, kayaks, or skimboards on the property, but there were probably skimboard rentals nearby.

Aquatic sports was something we pondered in Nova Scotia, but too stubborn I would've wanted to bring digital camera gear on the excursion, ruining it with salt water. I would've need to get a PT job (at discount rent a car Canada?) to buy a replacement digital camera.

We could've stayed becoming residents, skim board aged-folks (learning skimboarding trick stunts), being counted in Canada population province census, living in Nova Scotia cheap, and being much closer to take a Nova Scotia ski vacation, and regular consumers of Tim Horton's coffee and donuts. I might even open our own discount rent a car Canada.

I guess we'd end up posting our skimboard pictures and notifying the Canada vistors bureau we're becoming the attraction Canadian tourist would want to see (and hopefully get shots of our skimboarding trick stunts with their digital camera gear).

We went back to our campground, then arose early to go to Peggy's Cove and beat the 'touristy' tourists who came in the tourist busses and clogged up both the skinny streets and beautiful scenery of Peggy's Cove.
