We decided to camp Cheticamp grounds Nova Scotia. They were nice accomodations for us.

We're not sure if this photo is of a Nova Scotia Baptist church,
a Nova Scotia Anglican church, a Nova Scotia Catholic church or
a church Halifax Nova Scotia United.

We hope you enjoy these pictures of a campground Cheticamp style.

We finally decided we'd better pick a campspot for the night so we hit Le Plage St. Pierre Campground. It was near the ocean on the island near Cheticamp.

The campground had a nice beach with a boardwalk out to it. We could see the beach from the parking lot, but not our campspot. And we could hear the surf from our campspot. If I remember correctly, this place had decent bathrooms and shower. We'd stay here again.

pite a nice leisurely stay, we didn't come across any Cheticamp golf package. In fact, I don't think we even read an issue of Cheticamp News NS. Even if we did, we're on vacation and don't want to even get load to reading a Cape Breton obituary.

While in town, we didn't need to stay at any Canada Cheticamp hotel.

Finding our way to and from the campground wasn't impossible for a seasoned driver/navigator, but it may be kind of hard for the average traveller. The campground lies south of Cheticamp city limits, and I'm not sure if the road was an actual causeway or bridge, but I do remember there being water on both sides of the road for quite away until we reached the island and the campground.
