These were taken at a pulloff that the National Park service called "The Lone Shieling." Apparently a shieling is a semi-open shelter for Scottish crofters (shepherds). The actual building wasn't that impressive as it was a re-construction and not an original, but the rest of the scenery in the area was worth the stop. 350 year old sugar maples, included.
