I think my wife and I started something special for the University while we were there (without knowing it). Ever since our visit on campus, St. Francis Xavier University has been named the top primarily undergraduate school in the Canada by Maclean's magazine. So the three years following our visit they've been recognized. Show's how cool we are that we bestow that blessing on the campus just by visiting. (Yes, I'm joking.)
This campus is the result of a Catholic Nova parish roman Scotia having a vision and taking action to bring it into being.
Above, the distant building you see with scaffolding surrounding it is St. Ninians Cathedral. The remodeling or restoration was taking place during the summar of 2001.

Above and below you can see We really didn't take much time to do Antigonish Nova Scotia things, and we didn't see the Antigonish Beach Boys concert. The Beach Boys played in Antigonish's St. Francis Xavier University campus on August 7, 2005. It was only one of three shows they're doing in Canada this year.
